I first began to paint wildlife in the previous century (sic!) using solid, tangible non-digital watercolours and acrylic paints. But by 1997, I had entered into contact with the digital world and I immediately took to the new possibilities it offers and began to work with graphic tablets and Macs.

Until around 2000, most of the time I painted with paint – that is, with acrylics, water colours or, to a lesser extent, oils – in increasingly larger and larger formats and, above all, concentrating more on light effects and textures (always organic and natural) than on forms, landscapes or specific subjects. However, within just a few years digital techniques came to hold sway and now I only ever rarely ‘dirty’ a paintbrush, sometimes just for fun, despite the constant pressure from parents, teachers, friends and acquaintances who never miss the opportunity to ask when I’m going to start ‘painting’ again!
Here are some examples of my work ranging from the past century (!) to the present day, including large-format works and works produced in the studio and in the field, which to a large extent reflect the spontaneity of my field sketches that you can find elsewhere in this web. Most of the field sketches were done in the Empordà region and, above all, in Cap de Creus, which for me has always been an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
