This type of panorama can be adapted for use in leaflets, pocket guides, books and, above all, posters and large-format displays in which its ability to incorporate small, highly detailed elements can be exploited to a maximum. This is the case, for example, of the panorama, originally five-metres long (see below), which was designed for an itinerant exhibition on the natural area of La Garriga in Avinyonet de Puigventós (Alt Empordà).

A special case are the panoramas based on gigaphotos, which push this technique to the limits of its possibilities. In the example here (click on the photograph), the birds that winter on and around a lake, the Estany d’Ivars i Vila-sana (Lleida), appear on a backdrop of a gigaphoto taken by Josep Giribet.
